Celebrating National Poetry Month, Jack and a five-musician ensemble from the SEATTLE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY, will perform BEHOLD THE BOLD UMBRELLAPHANT with an exhilarating score composed by Lucas Richman.

In the last year, Jack appeared with the San Diego Symphony, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and the Seattle Chamber Music Society in concerts of this work. In January, the San Diego Symphony recorded BEHOLD THE BOLD UMBRELLAPHANT, along with THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS with Jack as narrator—the CD should be available this fall.

In this fundraising event for the DUPAGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, Jack will be narrating his verses from THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS during the symphony’s performance of Camille Saint-Saens’ musical fair. Listen to the “Lion,” “Rooster and Hens,” “Donkeys of the Wild,” and the famously serene “Swan,” among other creatures, as Jack reads from his newest book, illustrated with lavish drawings by Mary GrandPre, artist of the Harry Potter books.
